Anthony M. Kwasnica
I am an associate professor of Business Economics at Penn State. I am in the Department of Insurance and Real Estate in the Smeal College of Business Administration.
I am a member of
the Laboratory for Economic Management and
Auctions (LEMA) and an associate research fellow at the eBusiness
Research Center. I am also a faculty affiliate at
The Center for Supply Chain Research,
Penn State.
I am currently conducting research on the ability of markets to forecast uncertain events. We are running markets to predict meteorology events at The Penn State Prediction Markets. This research has been mentioned in Business Week, the NY Times Freakonomics blog as well as BizEd.
